TA DAH!!!

At my last show, I managed to win Best of Breed.  I got to go in the Herding Group.  Wow was that ring big and they made us go around a couple of times.  I was the smallest dog in the ring--there was a German Shepard, two Collies, a Belgian Sheepdog (like my Aunt Eve), a Sheltie and a whole bunch of other dogs I didn't know.  By the time the judge got to me, I was pooped.  But anyway, my human was proud of me and I got a pretty gold and purple ribbon for being Best of Breed.

More Ears

Here is our Dad Rocco--that's where we get the big ears from!  In the second picture, that is our Dad and Grandma Jolee---she has big ears too.   So I guess those big ears are all in the family :-).

EARS

Seems the discussions lately are centering around who has the biggest ears.  You want ears, I'll show you ears.  Here is my Aunt Zoe and her ears!

Here is Aunt Zoe at 5 months.

Here is Aunt Zoe at 17 months.

Now those are some ears!

Nothing has Changed

Well it's been over a month since I wanted Spring, and nothing has changed.  We just had another snow storm, the third in four weeks.  My human is disgusted.  She moved to Arkansas to get away from the annual 300 inches of snow in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and now it has been nothing but snow, snow, ice, snow, ice, snow, snow.  Don't ask her opinion on global warming--!

We did make it to Pine Bluff for the dog show.   I did really well on Saturday and took Best of Breed (I only got 1 point since half the Cardigans didn't show up).  I went to the Herding Group and that took so long that I pooped out by the end.  Sunday, I was Best of Opposite Sex, but no points since the other boy didn't show up. On to Columbia, Missouri next month.  Probably will have three more blizzards before that.

Almost all the puppies have gone to their new homes, only Sandie and Blaze are still here.   Sandie may be a show dog like me, and Blaze is waiting for the right home to come along.  I am going to have to teach Sandie all of my tricks.  Here is Sandie at 7 weeks, she will be 11 weeks old this Thursday.

This is Blaze, he is 9 weeks old in this picture--his 11 week birthday is this week too.

And I am going to be 1 year old next month!  I guess I am not a puppy anymore--though it is said that Cardigans are puppies until they are almost two years old.

Well that's about it for now.  Hope to check back with news of sunshine and warmer weather soon.
