Nothing has Changed

Well it's been over a month since I wanted Spring, and nothing has changed.  We just had another snow storm, the third in four weeks.  My human is disgusted.  She moved to Arkansas to get away from the annual 300 inches of snow in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and now it has been nothing but snow, snow, ice, snow, ice, snow, snow.  Don't ask her opinion on global warming--!

We did make it to Pine Bluff for the dog show.   I did really well on Saturday and took Best of Breed (I only got 1 point since half the Cardigans didn't show up).  I went to the Herding Group and that took so long that I pooped out by the end.  Sunday, I was Best of Opposite Sex, but no points since the other boy didn't show up. On to Columbia, Missouri next month.  Probably will have three more blizzards before that.

Almost all the puppies have gone to their new homes, only Sandie and Blaze are still here.   Sandie may be a show dog like me, and Blaze is waiting for the right home to come along.  I am going to have to teach Sandie all of my tricks.  Here is Sandie at 7 weeks, she will be 11 weeks old this Thursday.

This is Blaze, he is 9 weeks old in this picture--his 11 week birthday is this week too.

And I am going to be 1 year old next month!  I guess I am not a puppy anymore--though it is said that Cardigans are puppies until they are almost two years old.

Well that's about it for now.  Hope to check back with news of sunshine and warmer weather soon.

Sammy, tell your human that I am from Michigan, too! Moving away from all that snow and then having it follow her is too much! Sounds like you are doing real well in the show ring! Darby and I could never do that! The two puppies still at home sure are cute. Wish we were ready for another one...that Blaze is cute! I wonder if they will have giant ears like you, Buddy and Darby!

Hi Darby's mom,

My mom thinks they will be big since they are not up yet, and everyone else's are. That means the dreaded tape!!!!!!!!

Oh, no! Not the dreaded tape!! I can't believe how HORRIBLE that was for me--it didn't seem to bother Darby as much as it bothered me! Thank goodness her ears popped up pretty quickly.

Erika wants your puppy friend, Blaze! She wanted a black and white puppy, but brought her Bonnie-girl home after Bonnie "claimed" her--walked right over to her, climbed into Erika's lap and went to sleep! The rest is history. Maybe when Erika graduates this June new puppies will be in the cards for both of us...

Hi! Sammy! It's me Buddy!
How's it going Bro! I love the puppies. I wish I had one! Someone to play with and teach. You are one lucky guy. Tell your human Hi! from us. Sorry it's so cold. I kinda like it colder here because it isn't so hot on my back. I think it might be because of my black color. I always try to find the shade.
Take care and stay warm!
Luv,
Brother Buddy
